• Half Price Eye Tests – Are for those not otherwise entitled to a free NHS eye test. Thompson Opticians will discount the cost of your private standard eye test by £10. The only exceptions are contact lens checks and tests requiring a written report for work purposes, which will be charged at £20.00.

• 25 % off Frames - applies to selected frames when purchased as complete prescription spectacles. All frames must be glazed by Thompson Opticians Ltd at the time of purchase.

• Free second pair - Applies to selected frames when purchased as complete prescription spectacles. To qualify for a complete second pair of spectacles the first frame purchased must have a tag price of £70 or more. The full retail price of the free second pair must be of equal or lower value than the first pair. The second pair must be glazed to the same prescription as the first. One distance and one reading pair do not qualify as the same prescription. In the case of a Bifocals and Varifocals however the second pair can be distance or reading single vision.

• The 2nd frame must be chosen from an equal value or less than the first frame up to a maximum of a tag price of £100. The free second  pair can be selected from the £100 range or above at a supplement of £50, the free second pair cannot be of higher value than the first pair. Rimless and Supra frames cannot be supplied as a free 2nd Pair.

 

• This offer cannot be taken in conjunction with any other offer.
• Vitomoro, Rayban, Lacoste frames are excluded from the sale.

• The second pair of lenses will be standard clear 1.5 CR39.

• More expensive lenses will be charged at the difference from standard clear 1.5 CR39.

• Metal glazing charges apply to first pair of glasses only.

• Rimless and Supra frames cannot be supplied as a free 2nd Pair.

• Prices from are based on group one 1.5 CR39 Lenses of range Sph +/- 4.00 Cyl +/- 2.00. Supplements apply for more complex lens designs and materials.
